All engraving settings provided by MakerFlo, which include user-submitted settings, are intended as a starting point and may not yield consistent results across all machines. Variations are expected due to differences in equipment, calibration, and environment. Testing prior to production is required. MakerFlo is not liable for engraving outcomes and does not offer replacements for unsatisfactory results or user error.

These laser settings are for engraving only. Black Laserette engraves to silver, and all other Laserette colors engrave to black. Use recommended power and speed settings as a starting point and adjust as necessary to achieve consistent results. We recommend purchasing a Laserette Swatch Set for testing.

Laserette is MakerFlo’s proprietary engraveable leatherette material designed for laser engraving businesses, personalization brands, and custom product makers. Made with dual-layer color tech, it produces high-contrast, precise engravings, is thicker and more premium-feeling than other brands, and provides consistent results for both small logos and intricate designs (which is difficult to achieve with other leatherettes due to thin or flimsy architecture). What makes Laserette different from standard engravable leatherette?

Unlike standard leatherette, Laserette is engineered for:

We recommend testing settings for your specific machine, but most users achieve excellent results with minimal dialing in.

Can I UV print or sublimate Laserette?

Laserette is suitable for UV printing, allowing you to add vibrant designs to your projects. Do not use for sublimation. MakerFlo is currently developing laserette to work for sublimation, but the current line up of products do not support sublimation.

Laserette can be customized with laser engraving, UV printing, UV DTF and vinyl.

Yes! The box for all the laserette items from MakerFlo are able to be engraved! Be sure to go with a low power high speed set up to avoid burning or cutting through the box!
